About Pendulm

Hi, I’m Katri Pagliaro, founder of Pendulum.

As a permanent makeup artist and trainer from Ballarat, Australia, I’ve spent the past seven years creating beautiful, lasting results for my clients and empowering other artists to excel in their craft. Along the way, I experienced many of the same challenges I know you face—small frustrations that interrupt your workflow and pull you out of your creative flow.

One of my biggest pain points was sharpening my pencil. I dealt with broken pencils, wasted materials, and the constant risk of cutting my fingers with a blade. It was frustrating and time-consuming, taking me away from what I love most—creating art.

That’s why I created Pendulum. After three years of development, it’s designed to simplify the sharpening process, save time, and make your routine smoother. The tool pairs perfectly with the Definitude pencil, which I developed by combining the best features of the pencils I’ve trusted throughout my career. Together, they’re made to give you precision, ease, and consistency, so you can focus on your craft without distractions.
