How it works
Follow these simple steps to get started with your pendulum.
1
Remove Paper
Remove 2cm (3/4 inch) of paper from the Definitude™ pencil
2
Get Into Position
Hold the Pendulum® in your hand and look through the window to control the sharpening process.
Hold the pencil low and rest your pinky finger on top of the Pendulum® for stability
3
Insert The Pencil
Without twisting or tilting the pencil, push the core down through the blades - far enough so that the blades have enough core to be able to engage and cut.
When the core is completely blunt, start with one insert pushing down far enough to start to cut the bulk of the pencil away, then push down further on the 2nd insert
4
Retract The Pencil
Pull the core back out through the blades.
NOW FOR THE IMPORTANT PART - when the very tip us about to be cut by the blades, there will be a snapping sensation. It's crucial to keep the pencil from jerking - simply ease it through the blades gently to achieve a super sharp tip without breaking
5
Not Sharp?
Simply push the core further through the blades until it is able to cut a taper which ends with a sharp tip.
REMOVE MORE PAPER if a sharp tip is not forming when you are inserting the full length of the core
Designed for Professional PMU Environments

Built for repeat use, The Pendulum® helps maintain clean workflows without compromising precision.
